Good thing Grilling is good for us contrary to what others say. However, there is a good and healthy way of grilling whilst there is a grilling process that will really press health threats to the human body. So before you toss those meats and sausages on that grill, take time to find out what you should do in order to avoid grilling the wrong way. The Charred Meal Dilemma It is not new to you that there are certain studies proving that grilling can cause certain cancers. That is if you char the food or overcook it. You see there are some people who prefer a little char on their grilled barbecue or steak and they are unaware that’s where the problem starts. It is easy to char food over the grill, but when you start cooking pork, fish, chicken or red meat over that high-temperature flame proteins will immediately react to heat which forms mutagenic compounds. These compounds affect the DNA cell structure that may cause cancer. One more thing, high heat temperature can easily excrete fat from the meat and when those fat drips straight to the coals or burners it will produce smoke which contains polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or PAH. As that smoke ignites, it will blend with the food and let this unhealthy compound land on those sizzling chicken barbecue legs.
