The new Clarins SOS Masks are targeted beauty fixes in 3 different textures for any skin emergency.  As with all things Clarins, these masks are plant-powered, and work their magic within 10 minutes.

Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Mask is a non-drying, creamy mask that absorbs excess oil, removes impurities and tightens pores.  Unlike other clay-based masks, this does not fully dry and harden, and does not strip my sensitive skin.  Instead, it actually leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth after use.  Full list of ingredients may be found here.

Clarins SOS Hydra Refreshing Hydration Mask is a crisp gel-cream that contains hyaluronic aid  to help boost dehydrated skin.  It reminds me of Clarins’ old HydraQuench mask which I loved, and this new SOS Hydra mask did not disappoint.  Those with dehydrated skin should use this as a weekly treat after cleansing, tissue or rinse off, or leave it on as a sleeping mask.  Full list of ingredients here.

Clarins SOS Comfort Nourishing Balm Mask is the most nourishing of the 3, though the balm feels luxuriously smooth and lightweight.  It feels so comfortable on, I have taken to using it as an intensive treatment on my irritated patches, leaving it on overnight.  Ingredients such as squalane and mango seed oil soften and soothe, leaving my skin soft and smooth.  Full list of ingredients here.

Simple unfussy packaging aside, I like that Clarins has chosen to use squeezable tubes instead of jars for these masks.  They are light and easy to pack for an extended trip, and I’ve been using the SOS Pure on my t-zone and SOS Comfort on my cheeks every other night.  SOS Hydra is nice after an afternoon by the pool, and even in the morning to plump up the skin.  Whatever your needs, you’re bound to find 1 if not all 3 of these Clarins SOS Masks to be helpful!
