The LA Way with @TheGirlHabit

Introducing model/actress Leore Hayon… make sure to make note of her fave LA go-to’s…

We recently met LA-born and bred Leore Hayon (aka @TheGirlHabit) on a shoot about summer to fall… Um, fall in California? Well, it does exist, just not as noticeably as we east-coasters are used to. In between the on-and-offs of chunky sweaters and statement jackets, Leore caught us up to speed on casting calls, on-set movie magic, and her favorite LA haunts. Below are a few of her best-kept city secrets.

Drink — Beverly Hills Juice
It is this little hole-in-the-wall Juice spot that’s been around since 1975. They have the most delicious raw and pressed juices. I like to get the Banana Mana shake with the Green Genie juice and shot of E3 Live.

Listen — Hotel Cafe
This is one of my favorite places to see a show… the entrance is via an alleyway, emptying you into a very dark interior space that feels a bit old Hollywood. I’ve seen some big musicians come through — it’s always cool to see a band before they “blow up.”

Miranda Midi Dress

That’s A Wrap Linen Buttondown, Tyler One Piece

Explore — Griffith Observatory
Hiking is a way of life in LA, probably because it’s always a beautiful day for a hike… and Griffith Park offers so many off-the-beaten-path trails. Some lead all the way up to the Griffith Observatory, which is a fantastic reward for a long hike, especially at night overlooking all of LA and up to the stars.

Eat — Backyard Bowls and Blue Bottle (next door to each other)
After my morning yoga, this is a favorite spot to enjoy an iced latte and an acai bowl. Everyone walks their dogs nearby, so I like saying hi to all of the pups as well.

Two-Tone sk8 Reissue High Top, Just A Dreamer Sequin Pant

Nirvana Oval Sunnies, Hand-dyed Authentic low Sneakers, Vintage Wrangler Denim Shirt

Visit — The Hollywood Forever Cemetery for Cinespia
One thing I truly love about LA. You go with friends. Have a picnic. Listen to music and, once the sun goes down, watch an iconic film under the stars surrounded by the graves of Hollywood legends.

Shop — Squaresville
I was just there yesterday… this vintage store in Los Feliz is a gem. I’ve found some of my favorite pieces here and, the best part is that the prices won’t leave you broke (unless you buy the whole store, which can be tempting).

Watch — The Vista
The most beautiful theater to visit to see a movie. It’s been around since 1923, so that’s pretty cool, in my book.
