Hands up if you get really excited about seeing buildings in your favourite colour? I have both hands up, and feet too, if that counts for anything! I’ve had my eye on this pale lemon building since we visited Bangkok in April. Fast forward a Couple of months and I finally made it down to shoot some photos here – in my finest lemon-print dress with my Yellow Instax in tow, naturally.

Something you may (or may not!) have noticed here is that I’ve had a little bit of a haircut. 99% of the blonde was cut out in a much, much needed trim, and I added a little bit of a fringe too. Just a hint! It’s kind of weird glancing at myself in store windows, since this is the first time my hair has been completely naturally coloured in well over a decade. And you know what? I’m SO ready to go blonde again. I give it a couple of months. Just watch this space ; )

As for other yellow buildings around Bangkok; I already have my eye on a couple, which I’m really looking forward to photographing! I don’t know if either will compare to this building (The Blue Elephant) which is from 1903, but hey, I’ll do my best. I’m sure I’ll be happy with the results. After all, yellow is the happiest colour!
