This time not to much gypsy – Festival Style

Pack your backpack, oil your voice and off to the Festival. The open-air season is officially opened. Now only the right outfit is missing.

My first festival is already over. The Zermatt Unplugged, which is almost standard on our annual planning. Also this year, one exciting experience chased the other. Cool sounds, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Everything you need for a good festival.
The atmosphere in this beautiful village is almost cheesy – with the breathtaking mountain panorama and the sweet alpine-chic houses.

The unplugged takes place every year at the same time as the Coachella. A festival in California, which was mainly known by many celebrities who visit this event and with their extravagant festival look. For many years this is something on my “must-have-visited-list”. Although many voices are negative about the festival, because it is not as great as it seems, I want to see it one time by myself. If I don’t like it, there are plenty of alternatives. Including the Glastonbury in England, the Roskilde in Denmark, the Tomorrowland in Belgium or even some in Switzerland like the Paleo Festival or the Montreux Jazz Festival. The list could go on with many others. But let’s stay with them.

In terms of fashion, there is no more typical look for a festival than the bohemian style, also known as boho chic. The gypsy look is probably the most widely used and best-known look to wear at a festival. Since this is shown again and again in various magazines or even in my posts last year like “Best thing to wear on a rainy festival weekend” or “Happy Festival Season“, I decided this time to wear a bit less hippie. In addition, the temperatures in Zermatt were not so warm that I could slip into any fringe dress. What do you think?
