Welcome, welcome!! It feels like y’all are all coming over for a wine night haha… or at least, let’s just pretend that lol? This weekend was a fun but crazy one. We got to see Josh’s mom and brothers and my sister is still living with us. BUT, welcome to Josh and I’s home tour! We live at Park East Living in Lubbock, Texas. It’s a really fabulous apartment building and we feel really fortunate to live in a 2-bedroom apartment. I’ve shown y’all our bedroom, this is our living room, and I’ll show y’all my office in a few weeks. This apartment is small, but it’s the perfect space for us two (well… and the cats and dog.)

When you walk in, this is the living space. I love how open it is. Our door opens right up to this view and to the right of this is our kitchen. When I was styling this space I styled it completely around the couch. We’re really thankful my parents gave this to us (they’ve had it for years) but it’s a really nice sectional from Restoration Hardware. Before we got this I was looking into couches and holy cow…… why are they SO expensive!? I was also glad this couch is pretty masculine for Josh too. Of course I had to glam the space up with a cute and decorated Coffee Table and lots of pillows (which Josh feels so STRONGLY about not liking how many pillows there are….#boys).
In the little back corner, I had this cute side table that I decorated with Coffee table books, cute coasters, and then put a plant in the corner as well. My plant is real and she’s doing so well!! I’m keeping her alive and happy lol. She’s a majesty palm and I got her from Lowe’s. Our TV stand/dresser is from IKEA and is so old but super handy dandy.
Hellooooo, kitchen!!! My happy place. But seriously, we are always in the kitchen snacking lol. This was actually what sold us for living at Park East. If you don’t know anything about Lubbock, a lot of the apartments and homes are extremely outdated…. or just not visually pleasing lol. EVERYTHING we looked at had brown cabinets and really dark vibes and considering my blog is all about pretty spaces and my life, I needed an apartment that could work for photos and such. I adore the white cabinets, sleek hardware, and quartz counter tops. I’m also IN LOVE with how well our bar stools go with the place. I bought these here and they are so cute. I do wish I would’ve only done 2 or 3 though…. but 4 look nice!
The only thing missing in this space is something for the top of the cabinets. I have some random things up there for now…. but I really want like a big ‘EAT’ sign or just something big that will fit. I don’t want it cluttered… what do y’all think!?
I got the place mats from a local boutique but similar here. The plates are really old also.
The little stacked rack you see in the corner is a literal LIFE SAVER. My mom got these for my sis and I for our bathrooms but I love it for the kitchen. We put fruits on the bottom, veggies above, and vitamins/supplements at the very top. Really saves space!
Another little corner of happiness. I love this little space SO much. Our coffee bar sign fit perfectly here and we usually make a pot of coffee every morning and use our Nespresso on days we are running late or for a midday pick-me-up. The two items in the middle are our coffee bean grinder and then our milk frother which is basically heaven. If you don’t have one, you NEED one. I’m not kidding. It’s an at-home latte game changer. This one is really awesome and affordable.
Pillows are all from At Home, Target, and Home Goods. My coffee table is decorated with a coffee table book, hydrangeas, and this really cute tray that I just got from At Home. I put a little succulent (From Lowe’s), Bath & Body Works candle, and a gold spiked sea urchin decorative piece (what are these things called lol?). Our coffee table was another awesome purchase I got on sale from Joss & Main for $98. It fits perfectly in this space!

I really love the color scheme of pillows here. This photo isn’t showing our painting very well but we LOVE it. I bought it from Minted.
That’s our little home tour! I adore it. It’s so fun to decorate our own space. I’m thankful Josh kind of let’s me do whatever with it…. the only thing he doesn’t like is my pillow obsession HA. Happy Friday…thanks for reading, friends!
