Hi friends! Today I’m another year older. I LOVE birthday’s because it’s such a fun celebration of life. I’ve got a whole birthday week planned with Josh and friends. Today I have class but I get to grab Acai bowls with my girlfriends, a little early dessert with my sister and then tonight, Josh and I are going to dinner at a restaurant I’ve been dying to go too. Afterwards, we’re getting drinks with friends! Tomorrow, is one of my bffs birthdays so we’re going to do a full girls night dinner with everyone to celebrate. On Thursday, we’re holding a fun birthday party at our house with all of our friends. So this week is about to be a whirlwind of fun and I cannot wait! I feel so blessed to have the people that I do and it’s even more special getting to feel so loved by everyone today.

My friend and photographer, Jennifer, and I shot this extra bold Birthday Outfit look at a local fun spot called Holly Hops. It’s a bright and colorful diner that has lunches and sandwiches but also incredible ice cream and banana splits. I LOVED how this birthday outfit shoot came out and couldn’t wait to share! The emerald green top I’m wearing is actually a body con dress. I paired it with this bright pink pencil skirt but I’ll actually be wearing it as a dress this Thursday with friends.

I’m so grateful for another year to be alive. Another year that has so many unknowns, exciting changes, and 365 days filled with who knows what. I’m really grateful for another year to celebrate y’all following along my journey of life. Something I haven’t always shared is my age on here. I’ve always acted 10 years older than I really am. When I was 12 years old, people thought I was 16. When I was 16 people would ask me how old I am and go “Oh my god, I thought you were at least 19.” When I was 19, people thought I was 23 and this whole last year every stranger I met was astounded I was only 20 and said they figured I was 24 or 25 haha. I love it because I have a really mature personality.

BUT TODAY, I am FINALLY T-W-E-N-T-Y O-N-E. It seems like it has taken forever. I’m not really a drinker nor do I ever go out anymore but I truly just have counted down till this day so I can do my grocery shopping and buy a bottle of wine lol. Am I old or what? Haha! That’s what I’ve been so excited for! So y’all KNOW I’m headed to the grocery store today to buy a couple bottles of champagne.
