Kimono: The Ultimate Summer Style Staple
Kimonos are being worn by everyone, from celebrities to mums and teenage girls. These modern cousins of the ancient Japanese garment are the perfect summer style staple because of their lightweight material, beautifully vibrant designs and laid-back elegance. They are perfect not only for the beach or summer music festival but also as part of a chic evening outfit.
The kimono is lightweight and oversized which makes it perfect for layering as well as hot summer days. It comes in different lengths, patterns and colours so you can tailor the look to your own style.
My flower embroidered mesh kimono is made of cotton and it comes at a very affordable price of £16.99. I styled it with a pair of white jeans, a mixed print cami top and high wedges.
