TRENCH COAT AND BEDZIN CASTLE

TRENCH COAT AND BEDZIN CASTLE

Trench coat

I don’t think I have to convince you about trench coats; they are timeless, iconic and incredibly versatile. I combined my classic trench with chinos and a tee with a very cool and colourful print. I love cats and travelling so as soon as I saw this T-Shirt, I knew I wanted it. In terms of shoes and accessories, I mentioned in my previous post TWEED JACKET that I am currently obsessed with three pieces: gold Converse shoes, large cat eye sunglasses and basket bag. I received a lot of questions about my gold Converse shoes; I bought them from OFFCUTS, the little brother to high street shoe retailer, OFFICE. They offer one-off exclusive last pairs and ex-display products. My gold Converse shoes were only £18! Although they are sold out, check out their website for some other amazing bargains, as well as my previous post HOW TO BE STYLISH ON A BUDGET AND OTHER STORIES for some tips on how to get your hands on great quality fashionable gems for a fraction of the price.

Bedzin Castle

I love architecture and I am especially drawn to castles. Check out my previous posts featuring some beautiful English castles: NARROW BOAT AND WARWICK CASTLE and THE PRINCE REGENT SHOWMAN’S CARRIAGE, RYE AND BODIAM CASTLE.

This time I would like to show you a lovely little medieval gem hidden in southern Poland, Bedzin Royal Castle. This adorable stone castle dates to 14th century, and is predated by a wooden fortification that was erected in 11th century. It was an important fortification in the Kingdom of Poland.

The castle is located in close proximity to my high school and those stone arches is where I used to hang out with my friends on nice sunny days when we decided to skip classes. Another interesting fact about Bedzin castle is that it’s apparently haunted by a headless knight!

Can’t wait to read your comments! Have an amazing week!
