Hey guys! so today I’m going to be talking to you all about the Christian Dior Exhibit presented by Holt Renfrew that is taking place at the Royal Ontario Museum until March of 2018.

The inspiration for the exhibit is “The end of a war. The start of a fashion revolution.” It basically covers the massive role Christian Dior played in the revival of the Paris fashion industry following the second world war.

If you’re anything like me, and you love haute couture, and timeless designers like Dior than this exhibit will literally be like walking into a mini heaven.

The set up is so unique, there are dresses on mannequins all around the room, they have everything from dresses made for royalty to dresses made for superstars.

They also have accessories like bags, gloves, shoes, and jewellery on display.

Toward the back of the exhibit, there is a section that covers all the classic perfumes.

They even touch on the design aspect of the clothing incorporating windows on everything from textiles to sparkles.

To top everything off there are quotes from Dior that sync up with every part of the exhibit, there are silent video clips of advertisements and runway shows throughout history, and there are even gorg decorations hanging from the ceiling and on the walls.

Overall, this exhibit was a 10/10. I would definitely recommend ANY fashion or history fans to go take a look, my expectations were totally exceeded, but what else can you really expect when Holts teams up with Dior.
