hey guys! so today i’m going to be making the first post of a new Segment called “Diva Reviews”. This segment will be me reviewing items that i’ve purchased, mainly ones that i get a lot of questions about. Im starting the segment with my Gucci Marmont Mini Bag due to the fact that its my current fav, and because i literally get questions EVERY time i wear it.

Overall this bag is the ideal cross-body, the strap can also be shortened to make it a shoulder bag (but i never really wear it that way). Its the perfect size, its trendy, it has classic potential and it will definitely age with you! (i’m a teen, but i would for sure still rock it if i was a mom or even a grandma) A major pro to this bag is the price, designer bags similar to this can run you upward of $2000. This bag cost $1550 Canadian (without tax) making it an amazing starter bag. The only Con i’ve come across with this bag is being able to purchase it. If you’re from Toronto, like myself, you’re likely going to be on backorder for this bag until the Christmas season :(( Fortunately i found this bag in Europe, so if you aren’t from Toronto, you may have better luck!

This bag is SO adorable and it can easily be used as a daily wear or dressed up for a fancy night out. Here i simply paired the bag with jeans, a body suit, and some sneaks for a shopping day.

Sizing: A major thing for me when purchasing a bag is how it looks on my frame, this bag is considered a “mini bag” but i personally think its a great size for a cross-body. For reference i’m around 5’10, and majority of my height is in my legs, so the bag lays around my bum.

Exterior: the Marmont mini comes in a variety of shades and textures, i personally chose the black velvet mini because i was searching for a small daily wear bag that would go with any outfit. The stitching on the bag is in the prettiest pattern, and the chain as well as the buckle are the perfect example of standing out without being overpowering.

Interior: the interior of the bag is a beautiful bright pink silk lining, it has a small pocket that can hold change, receipts, cards, etc. The main section of the bag is quite small but can fit a small wallet or card holder, keys, a phone, and a small makeup bag.

Overall this is an amazing bag and i 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a black cross-body!
