I always loved how the breeze chased petals on the sidewalks in the late Summer afternoons, and how the whole city fell in a lazy, self-indulgent, daze…
It’s in these moments of quiet introspection, when you discover a hidden nook nestled between the noise and hustle of downtown, that you discover yourself a little more and learn to love the summer rain a little harder. This time there were just petals falling from the trees, and while the clouds were wrestling with each other, I saw a glimpse of golden light warming the sky at the horizon and knew that the summer will win for one more night.
It’s crazy how sometimes even the smallest things can stretch us beyond the limits that we thought were possible, and stare back at us with the triumphant gaze of manifested dreams. That afternoon something clicked inside of me. I knew this was the point of no return.
