Red Hot Chili Peppers is a favorite of many aspiring guitarists, since the guitar riffs and solos created by the band are very cool, relatively simple to learn, and loads of fun to play.

This goes the same for Can't Stop, which is a favorite of many guitarists. Our guitar lesson on Can't Stop will teach you the whole shabang, each chord, riff solo... Are you ready?

Can't Stop isn't exactly the easiest song you'll be learning, but it is very worthwhile. The main riff involves lots of string skipping, and if you're not really used to the fretboard and picking non-adjacent strings yet, than this is a great one for you to learn! You'll really improve your plucking skills.

You'll also get a chance to practice some Barre Chords during the Can't Stop tutorial. I know I know, you hate barre chords. But know that to advance as a guitarist, barre chords are a must! There is no way around it, you just have to learn them, and what better way than through an awesome song like this?!

All in all, Can't Stop is an intermediate level track, due to the barre chords and string skipping during the main riff. If you are a very beginner just starting out, and want to learn some electric guitar songs, I would recommend you start out with Wipe Out, which is suitable for very beginners as well, and work your way up from there.

But if you are up for a challenge, go ahead and learn to play Can't Stop! Work at it, be patient, and you will succeed, I guarantee it.
