“It all comes down to this broken love story. You can’t control what moves you and I’ve always wanted to tell a love story. To me, music is the purest way to communicate... so, at a certain point, I just had to jump. I’ve always been interested in the film making process. I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with directors who have let me into their process. I had the luxury of time with this project, which was key. I was able to take the time to write, to work on the music, to work on the script, to rehearse, etc., for three years. I’ve been a music fan my whole life. To be able to tell this story – through music – really has been a dream come true.”
