Iron Fist #1 Comic Review

Iron Fist is a marvel character that I knew nothing about until I started watching the Netflix original series this week.  After binge watching the show, which I highly recommend checking out, I did decide check out some of the comics.

Iron Fist is not a new character, however there is a new Iron Fist #1 that was just released.  I read through it quickly and I really liked it.  In the comic, he’s seems to be losing his Iron Fist powers which he draws from the chi force of K’un-Lun, which was destroyed.    Needless to say, Iron Fist is having an identity problem, since when he’s not Iron Fist, he’s Danny Rand.

Danny Ran is having a rough time finding himself, and begins frequenting a bar where whisky is his friend.  Until opportunity arises and Danny just may have a chance to find answers, and maybe even restore his power.

This was just the first issue of the comic, so this is where is 2017 storyline will begin.  Danny is a master of Kung Fu and even though his Iron Fist power is fading, he can still hold his own.

I am looking forward to the series.  He is an interesting character who doesn’t just fight but also has a very real human emotion side to him.  Making him easy to relate to on a few levels.

They leave us with Danny sailing off to find answers.  I can’t wait to take the journey with him.
