How about some fun news? Here are two of the most exciting updates in the game.

Mini-Map

Now in the lower left hand corner there's a mini-map showing where you are in the larger world. Currently you press 7 to turn it on. The prototype mini-map is in the lower left corner of this picture.

Gene2Genomme

Now you can take any real gene and make a bacteria based on it. The game takes the gene, reads the nucleotide sequence and bases the bacteria's traits on that sequence. The bacteria in the picture is derived from the gyrB gene in E. Coli. All you have to do is create a .txt file with the nucleotide sequence and put it in the genomes folder.

So those are two exciting new things. I'll remember to update ya'll more as time goes on.
