The best news for my Neighborhood (Five Points) in Denver: Nooch Vegan Market successfully hit their $10,000 goal on Kickstarter and are going to get funding for a freezer (which is super nice given that it’s been over 100 degrees for five days in a row and a huge portion of the state is currently on fire) and some initial stock so they can open the store with amply stocked shelves. I live a couple of blocks away from their location so I’m thrilled to have such a great resource in the neighborhood, founded by a pair of committed vegans as interested in creating community as selling us stuff to potentially make money, where I can just buy and eat whatever I want without paying attention to ingredient lists.
I’m probably going to get really, really fat in a matter of two months.
