The importance of consuming lemons

Lemons are citric fruits, as we all know, because they have citric acid in them. But they also have Ascorbic acid, which is Vitamin C, good for preventing, among other things, colds and flus, scurvy and skin ageing.

It must be consumed on a daily basis, since all the surplus, that is, what is not consumed in one day, goes out as waste. Vitamin C is an active consumer of free radicals, that is, what produces deterioration of the tissues and ageing. This means that it is an antioxidant. Nowadays many people talk about antioxidants and don't know exactly what it is. Vitamin C and green tea are excellent antioxidants.

Another quality of lemons is that it is antiviral and antibacterial. When used topically, it can disinfect skin wounds (it is true that it stings like heck). Drinking lemon juice as a "cure", just fasting and feeding only on lemon juice and water, it will rid the blood of any virus, even the resident ones, that are said to be "impossible to eradicate".

Boiling a lemon for 5 minutes, gently simmering it, is good for stomach aches and liver "overcharge".

And it is even good to make delicious dishes with it. Remember Lemon Curd?

Using lemon on salads is healthier than vinegar.

So, you see, isn't it good to have a lemon tree in your back yard?
