Strawberry & Banana Vegan Smoothie

If you’re looking for a super easy vegan Smoothie, look no further. For those of you just beginning a life without meat, we always try and make it easy for you by creating vegan or vegetarian alternatives to your favourite food and drink. Here, we’ve taken the classic strawberry and banana smoothie and made it vegan – very easy, very yummy and very healthy. Due to the health benefits of coconut, we’ve used coconut cream for a dairy-free alternative to milk. The mixture of strawberry and banana provides you with a nice dose of antioxidants and energy too. This one is a great-to for manic mornings – just whizz all the ingredients up in a blender and walk out the door with a big smoothie grin…

For the smoothie
  1. 2 bananas
  2. 400g fresh strawberries
  3. 180g of coconut cream/milk
For the sugar rim
  1. lemon juice
  2. caster sugar
Instructions
  1. Whizz all the ingredients up in a blender - easy!
  2. For a little sweetness or prettiness, you can run a wedge of lemon round the rim and dip it in some sugar
