Top 3 Foodie Moments: Düsseldorf, Germany

Düsseldorf is the seventh most populous city in Germany and it’s the capital of Germany’s state, North Rhine-Westphalia. It’s a modern city boasting some amazing architecture, a lively night life and in recent years, a multifaceted arty boho scene. All of which we had the pleasure of experiencing at the end of February. Banking, advertising, fashion and telecommunications are among the many industries which have made this city one of Germany’s wealthiest.

Recently, a lot of attention has been given to Medienhafen – and old harbour which now homes a hip quarter of bars, hotels, restaurants and architecture. Old warehouses have been turned into modern media offices which now neighbour new designs by celebrated architects, including Frank Gehry. During our visit, we also ate at a nearby vegan restaurant called Sattgrün
