Watch 2014 MTV Video Music Awards Live on DISH (Nominations)

Are you ready for another dose of music extravaganza? Well, you better be. For MTV brings you the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards live on August 24, 2014 from The Forum in Inglewood, California at 8/9c. Don’t forget to watch it!

At t the 31st annual MTV Video Music Awards Charli XCX and Fifth Harmony will give preshow performances, while during the main event there will a number of star-studded performances. Let’s talk about some of the performances that are bound to take your breath away.

Ariana Grande and Zedd will perform “Break Free”, while Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora will turn up the heat with “Black Widow”.  Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj will perform “Bang Bang” and Maroon 5 will perform “Maps”. Then you can see Nicki Minaj performing “Anaconda”, which by far, is sure to remind you of, last year’s Miley Cyrus’ performance with Robin Thicke.  Sam Smith   will sing “Stay with Me”). Usher and Nicki Minaj will perform “She Came to Give It to You”.   Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and 5 Seconds of Summer too are scheduled to perform at this event.

Beyoncé is also the leading nominee this year. She and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has eight nominations each while Eminem is following closely with seven nominations. Who will win the highest number of awards? Let’s wait till Sunday to find out.
