2008, going to pick it up this weekend.

Kid is only 14 so of course I'm taking everything he says with a grain of salt. For example. "fastest thing ever, I rebuilt the clutch with a $300 hinson, this think is like brand new".

I know better. I've been riding and racing honda 450r's for a long time and know my way around those basic machines. I know these are a whole new beast, but I'd like to try one out for variety and for the more comfortable ride I hear about.

Anyway, i'm trying to get details about the clutch because i've heard of the rivets losing their heads and ending up in the engine floating around. Kid says when he got it, the clutch was bad and it felt likei t had no power, he apparently put a new hinson clutch in and it's good to go now. I need to know this for sure. Also, I have heard of the cases cracking, is this common enough that I need to be looking close to make sure it's not happened.

Other than that, I will have to see the thing in person to know how good of shape it's in. THe photos do look mint condition, but you never know what's really going on inside the power plant.
