Maddie just can't seem to do anything right. Throughout Nashville Season 4 she pulled away from her parents for her own music career. Now back in the fold, she's attempting to get her career off the ground through Highway 65, except once again she has acted without thinking.

She had every right to step up for her friend and call the cops out on their racism, but that doesn't make how she did it right. While she could have saved her image, her fauxpology could have made everything worse.
