Take a peek at these otherworldly stills from the upcoming Guardians OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2.
Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have just released three new images from the film, and if we were not excited for the release already, then boy are we now!
Here we are given a closer look at newcomer to the film, Kurt Russell (THE HATEFUL EIGHT) as Ego, The Living Planet, father to our favorite music jammin’ hero, Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord. The stills also give us a glimpse of Yondu, portrayed once again by Michael Rooker (SLITHER). Returning to the cast is Bradley Cooper (AMERICAN SNIPER) to lend his voice as Rocket as he finds himself confronting Yondu in the image below. The sequel is set to be filled with comic book fan favorites to the rescue, more intergalactic action, unlikely allies, and awesome tunes thanks to the backdrop beats of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2’!
Written and directed by James Gunn, the film will also be starring Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, and Sylvester Stallone.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL.2 finds its way into US theaters May 5, 2017.
