Batgirl: Just about a year ago, we heard that Joss Whedon (Avengers: Age of Ultron, above) would be writing and directing Batgirl for Warner Bros. and DC. Now Whedon says: "Batgirl is such an exciting project, and Warners/DC such collaborative and supportive partners, that it took me months to realize I really didn't have a story." Of course, Whedon was also busy last year helping to complete Justice League after the unexpected departure of director Zack Snyder. We'll have to wait and see where the Batgirl project goes from here.
