In the Bourne series of spy movies, Matt Damon was furious but contained and in control. Now in the first trailer for Suburbicon, he looks furious but almost completely out of control in 1950's suburbia.
If the somewhat crazed trailer -- in a good way! -- looks and sounds reminiscent of movies by the Coen Brothers, that's no coincidence. They originally wrote the script early in their careers. George Clooney directed and adds his own visual flourishes, as he's done before in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Good Night, and Good Luck and The Monuments Men.
