The Happytime Murders movie billboards...

If you like your Muppets with an R-Rated edge then this summer The Happytime Murders will be right up your street.

Directed by Brian Henson (son of the late puppetmeister Jim Henson), this comedy sees the puppet cast of a 80s children's TV show, 'The Happytime Gang', targeted for death one by one.
Set in a world where humans and puppets coexist side by side, 'Phil Philips' (Bill Barretta), a disgraced LAPD detective-turned-private eye puppet must team up with his ex-partner 'Connie Edwards' (played by Melissa McCarthy) to solve the murders before anyone else dies.
These fun billboards and street posters were photographed along Robertson Boulevard, Beverly Boulevard, La Cienega Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard from August 1 to August 15, 2018.

One ad creative certainly channels 'The Terminator' and 'Sarah Connors', whilst the legal trademark infringement billboard may just be a nod towards the Sesame Street lawsuit brought against this film that was rejected.
Fans of the funny lady can also check out all these Melissa McCarthy movie billboards, whilst fans of puppet characters can enjoy all these billboards for The Muppets and these Sesame Street billboards.

This may not be your parents Muppets, but fans of the musical Avenue Q are sure to appreciate this darker, twisted take on the foam and felt creations.
