Rise series premiere TV billboards...

This March Friday Night Lights and Parenthood show runner Jason Katims brings us an uplifting high school drama called Rise.
The NBC series is inspired by Michael Sokolove's 2013 nonfiction book, Drama High: The Incredible True Story of a Brilliant Teacher, a Struggling Town, and the Magic of Theater, about revered Pennsylvania teacher Lou Volpe and the Harry S. Truman High School drama program.
Josh Radnor stars as the small-town English teacher 'Lou Mazzuchelli' who needs a new challenge and decides to try his hand at directing a high school production with the help of Rosie Perez's character inspired by real-life teacher, Tracey Gatte.
Helping them put on their production of rock musical 'Spring Awakening' will be Moana's Auli'i Cravalho and Damon J. Gillespie, and other drama students diverse in genders, ethnicities and sexuality.
These series launch billboards were snapped along West Hollywood's Sunset Strip on February 22, then later along Fairfax Avenue and Highland Avenue on March 4, 2018.

Let's see if this new Drama exploring the teachers and students lives on and off stage, with the occasional song, will rise to the top of your must watch list every week.
