She was first married to king of France, then moved over to Scotland after his death where she had to fight for her throne marrying nobles in the process and also trying to take away the throne of England from Queen Elizabeth who in the end had her royal head chopped off, although Mary did win in the way that her son James I became Elizabeth's heir and managed to unite England and Scotland under his royal rule.
