Another Hanna-Barbera production along with Canadian company Cinar created Young Robin Hood which aired the first month of 1991 and went on to have 2 seasons with a total of 26 episodes.

The show follows Robin Hood as a teenager and his band of merry younger men dukeing it out with the Sheriff of Nottingham and Prince John on several occasions. Maid Marian who lives at the Castle informs Robin about things that happen.

Robin Hood and his troop then taking advantage of Maid Marian’s information sets up a trap in attempt to take gold from the Kings men and gives it to the poor. The shows main characters are Little John the son of a black smith and Robin’s most trusted friend. Alan-a-Dale a young and very romantic lute player. Will Scarlet the youngest and talented thief who thinks the world of Robin and of course young Brother Tuck.

Growing up I loved anything related to knights in army and Young Robin Hood captured my interest as a child. Redwall was another cartoon I greatly enjoyed.
