Kate Middleton, 36, and Prince William, 35, are expecting their third child in April. But sources close to the Royal family are saying the couple are in for double the trouble and are expecting identical twin girls.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tonight attended a special dinner in their honour hosted by The King and Queen of Norway at the Royal Palace, Oslo #RoyalVisitNorway PA
The source says Kate and William,“Couldn’t be happier about their double baby news.” They have always wanted a big family. Kate is apparently ecstatic about having twins, ”She’s been telling pals that she’s thrilled to be pregnant with two little princesses and has been proudly showing the sonogram those closest to her.”
In her most recent sonogram, the Duchess was able to get a better idea of her girls’ different personalities, “One of the babies was calm and relaxed,” the source revealed, “Whereas the other had endless energy,” the source added.
The source continued to share, “In a way, Kate feels like she got an idea of what the girls’ personalities are like! Kate jokes that the active baby is a ‘drama queen in the making.’”
Rumors abound – Is Kate Middleton Expecting Twins?
As much as Kate is excited for her two little princesses she is also worried how Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, are going to handle two new baby sisters at once. Kate is especially worried for Charlotte, who isn’t used to the idea of being an older sister and no longer the sole girl in the bunch. Allegedly, “She’s used to being the only girl and loves being the center of attention.”
The source added, “So Prince William and Kate are going to make sure that Charlotte and George don’t feel pushed out and still get all the attention they need.”
With all the excitement surrounding the speculation that the Royal pair is expecting double the dose the Duke of Cambridge shot that rumor down the other evening.
Prince William attended the Centrepoint Awards. While speaking to Raymond Stoner, boss of Anston Properties, William was overheard replying to Mr. Stoner’s question when Stoner inquired about the possibility of twins. Prince William’s response was, “Twins? I think my mental health would be tested with twins.”
The Prince apparently went on to say, “Two is fine, I don’t know how I’m going to cope with three, I’m going to permanently tired.”

And the Royals are reportedly naming one of the girls after William’s late mother Princess Diana. For the second baby? “They both like Alice, Victoria, Olivia, Alexandra, and Elizabeth.”
Hard to tell if Prince William is playing coy. Is the Royal pair expecting twins or is it just wishful thinking? We will just have to wait until April to find out.
