I am so excited that Fairy Tail is back! I had a feeling it would be. When you read the last page it even states that the adventure will continue. The final chapter didn't feel like one. You could tell that another Fairy Tail series was coming. We just didn't know when or how. I am happy that it's in manga form. Those of us who ship Nalu wanted to see it become canon. Hopefully, we will this time around. Let's get into our discussion of the first chapter of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest.
The Guild
Everything at the guild seems like business as usual. I was kind of disappointed to see that. In the final chapter of Fairy Tail, certain things were implied. It was implied that Gajeel and Levi became an item. But it wasn't confirmed in this chapter. I was also disappointed to see that Juvia was left behind at the guild.
It was also implied that she and Grey became an item. That wasn't confirmed either. I am getting the feeling that we might not see any confirmed couples. I hope we do but I am very skeptical after reading the first chapter. On top of that what happened with Erza and Jellal?
It's good to see everyone doing well. I love that they were rowdy as usual. I am confused as to why they don't want the guild to get bigger. They didn't mind it in the past. Is there a specific reason for it?

100 Years Quest
Fairy Tail team A went on the 100 years Quest. That would be Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Erza, Gray, Wendy, and Carla. Is the quest really going to take 100 years? Or is that just the name of it? I am starting to think that the quest isn't going to take 100 years. I think it just means that no one has completed it in 100 years.
It seems like the quest takes place on a different continent. I am happy that we are going to see a different region. The whole quest seems to be shrouded in mystery. I also wonder what makes this quest so hard? Even Gildarts couldn't do it.
I think the biggest shocker from this chapter is the dragon. I am surprised it's still alive. The impression I got is that it might be the only guild member.
