Alena Spodynyuk from Ukraine was declared the Supermodel International 2017 winner after besting 32 other candidates.
She was crowned by Supermodel International 2016 Josephine Tan from Malaysia in the finals night held in Delhi, India.
Alena Spodynyuk is Miss Universe Ukraine 2016 and was a heavy favorite to win the title at Miss Universe held in Manila, Philippines. Unfortunately, Alena failed to make it to the first cut of the comptetion.
Winning first runner-up is Brazil’s Katherine Strickert while Thailand’s Kamontaht Laobuddeepatapee was adjudged as second runner-up. China’s Zijun Zhang and Mekdalawit Mequanent of Ethiopia completed the Top 5, finishing third runner up and fourth runner up respectively.
