Ghost Stories will release in the United States, this week. The film is based on a stageplay of the same name. In the film, three chilling tales are investigated by a reclusive skeptic. What he finds changes his beliefs, forever. Ghost Stories stars: Andy Nyman ("Peaky Blinders"), Paul Whitehouse (Corpse Bride) and Alex Lawther. Professor Goodman (Nyman) begins by investigating the experiences of a night watchman (Whitehouse). In this story, an abandoned asylum stills locks in an odd assortment of disturbed ghosts. Next, a car accident is discovered to hold a dark secret, in a local wood. In the final tale, a wealthy banker is visited by a hellish, unborn child. All of these investigations leave Goodman both terrified and scarred. Ghost Stories is an IFC Midnight release.
