Passenger finds foodie happiness on Alaska Airlines

Seattle man raves about meal on flight to Maui

Patti Pietschmann reports

We picked up a very contented friend at Maui's Kahului Airport last night, He flew in on Alaska Airlines to join us here for a few days looking well-fed and happy.  Not only did Bob enjoy conversation across the ocean with a First Class seat mate he loved his meal. "It was delicious."

After a welcome Mai Tai and appetizer of watermelon arugula salad with Feta crumbles and shave coconut Bob opted for the honey glazed pork tenderloin medallions topped with mango salsa and served with what he described as wonderful garlic-laced bok choy and mashed ginger sweet potatoes. He washed it down with Chateau Ste, Michelle Mimi Chardonnay.

He ended the meal with coffee laced with Harvey's Bristol Cream.

Wish our First Class meal on Delta was that good, it wasn't bad just nothing to rave about. Maybe it will be on the flight back to Los Angeles.
Check out my piece on Delta's LAX lounge.
