I went to Kawagoe city today.
Kawagoe is the third biggest city in Saitama, and famous as a history city.


There are free guidemaps for foreign languages at the information center in Kawagoe Station.

Many people used the sightseeing bus, but I walked.


This is "蔵里(Kurari)". We can know Kawagoe's industrial and tourism in it.





Fox mask is a local speciality of Kawagoe.




蔵づくりの街並み（Kurazukurinomachinami）.
The town that retain their character from during the Edo period.
There are many important cultural properties of Japan.





This tower is "時の鐘(Tokinokane)".



This is my favorite shop "椿の蔵(Tsubakinokura)".
We can enjoy shopping there〓

I had lunch at the restaurant "菓匠　右門(Kasho Umon)".



It's a Japanese cake shop and the regional cuisine restaurant.


Steamed rice of the sweet potato(Kawagoe's specialty).



There are many good shops and restaurants in the thin alley.





From Ikebukuro to Kawagoe, it is about 40 minutes by a train (Tobu-Tojo line).
