Fathers Day In Australia

On Sunday {just gone} it was Fathers Day In Australia. We so would have loved to take out our Little Trailer Sailing Boat but we have to think of family – we have to take into account Dave’s Parents. So I suggested we all go to Bargara for Fish n Chip. So Happy Fathers Day David – even if you couldn’t sail your boat!

With being on Keto – there is no way that I was eating Fish and Chips! Way too fatty for my liver – so I decided to walk up to “The Windmill Cafe” and order take-away.

I wasn’t even looking for a Keto Lunch as such – just something super healthy and yummy. Now that I have lost 10.5 kilos with being on Keto, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to handle the fatty chips and fish, it would have made me so sick.

I asked for a “Green Bowl” – never had one before. Can’t wait to have another one sometime soon – must learn how to make it!

It was so filling that I couldn’t finish it – David had to finish it for me!

The Bees were both European Bees and Native Bees – both so very busy and both on the same flower. Working together, alongside each other – now if only us humans would get along so well together!!

Sweet Coco – gosh not sure what you have seen in your short sweet lifetime – wondering if you will ever be okay? She hardly ever goes out with us because we are not sure what she will do when another Dog comes anywhere near us.

She is really overprotective of Beauty – Can she sense that Beauty is not well all of the time? She will lunge for another dog and we have to pull her back – she will bite them if we are not careful {she went for another staffy one time at the beach}

If David and I are going to hug she will try and separate us – if Cameron and Kyle are practising Karate she will step in between them and bark and bark.

No-one can ever touch her tail she will try and attack you – sweet girl – hope that soon we can find a way to ease what is ever going on within you and so that we can explore safely anywhere with you.

Funny enough we returned to The Windmill Café after we had our lunch so that everyone could have Ice-Creams – I was so full from the Green Bowl that I couldn’t even eat anything

David wasn’t feeling the best after the greasy fish and chips – we have since decided that from now on we would do our lunches on the BBQ with salads as that is way more yummier and healthier.

David has now fixed the Sail, we have a new engine, David was given a Depth Sounder for his Fathers Day gift so we are now set to go sailing for the very first time in our Sailing boat. To say we are excited is an understatement.

All in all it was a great Fathers Day in Australia – we over looked the water and we got to watch a Catamaran sailing – must have been coming back into Bundaberg Port Marina.

We are planning lots more traveling trips – and if you jump on over to our Instagram page you will see that we have a new story up – its a wild idea that we have

Would You Want To Travel With Us?

Cheers

Lisa
