We had missed the 2014 Kent Mega event because we were at an underground event in Wales, but this year we had the opportunity to attend it particularly because we were manning a stall to promote our UK Mega Essex 2015 event (Don’t forget it everyone!!! Log your will attend here!!!). It was held on 2nd May at Hop Farm in Kent.

We spent most of our day behind the stall, but did get a break in the afternoon to explore the 10 Lab Caches that had been put out for it so thought I’d blog about those…
The actual woods where the lab caches were hidden in was really pretty and full of bluebells. There was also a plane wreck inside the woods which had been integrated into one of the lab caches. Apparently the plane was once used as a horse jump at Hop Farm, but I guess it’s now no longer used for that purpose and just tucked away inside the wood.

The lab caches were quite good fun and the team had clearly put a bit of thought into them. In the evening after the Mega was a barn dance event. Signal was up there dancing showing us how to do it! Lol!
