Flying to Taipei with AirAsia X

Flying to Taipei with AirAsia X

Taipei is one of the popular destinations for Malaysians in East Asia. There are a couple of airlines that offer direct flight from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to Taipei and Airasia X is one of them. On my recent trip to Taipei with Kelly Lee, we flew with AirAsia X.

This is not my first time flying with AirAsia X. I flew with them to other places such as Narita and Haneda (Tokyo), Osaka, Melbourne and Sydney. This is my first time flying to Taipei with the airlines.

We booked Premium Flex which includes priority queue, seats and access to the Airasia Premium Red Lounge in KLIA2.  We also booked for our luggage, meals and Xcite inflight entertainment.

The AirAsia Premium Red Lounge is located inside KLIA 2 after you passed through the immigration counter. Many didn’t know that when you purchased Premium Flex, you get three hour free access to the Red Lounge.

Watch the video below to know and understand more of the AirAsia Premium Red Lounge.

The AirAsia Premium Red Lounge is a great place for resting, chill or snacking before your next flight. It is also a great option if you are transiting in KLIA2.

There are desks and tables with power points for you to do your work. Not forgetting, there is food and drinks for you to snack. The nasi lemak is pretty good as well.

There is also a shower area for you to refresh yourself or go to the upper floor for napping. You need that power nap for your next travel.

For the flight, we enjoyed ourselves. You hear people complaining about leg room and spaces but it is okay for us. Like I mentioned earlier, I travelled with AirAsia X to many places and I won’t complain about the leg room and spaces.

For the inflight meals, I ordered their new food which is the Emperor Fried Rice. Watch the entire review below.

For AirAsia X Taipei flights, you can order food like Haagen Daz ice cream, Emperor Fried Rice and more when you book your flight on AirAsia.com

For the Xcite inflight entertainment, it is a tablet and you can order it on AirAsia.com. There are Hollywood movies, Asian movies, KPOP and JPOP songs, games and more. This will keep you occupied from Kuala Lumpur to Taipei and back.

If you plan to get some duty free items, remember to check out RokkiShop.com. I bought some toys for my boys during this trip. Watch the video below.

This won’t be our last time flying with AirAsia X as we will be flying to Japan soon thanks to the awesome AirAsiaBIG.com deal we had last year. For more info on AirAsia X flights, visit AirAsia.com
