Ho Chi Minh Famous Bánh Mì Huỳnh Hoa Review
If there is one place that offers the best Banh Mi in Ho Chi Minh, it will be Huỳnh Hoa in District One. There is no doubt about it. If there are places that can offer better taste than Huỳnh Hoa, that will be bonus.
We are never a big fan of Banh Mi until we were introduced to Huỳnh Hoa when we were traveling in Ho Chi Minh. We went there early so the crowd was not there yet.
The shop opens from 2.30pm until 11 pm daily (if not mistaken) and they are located at 26 Lê Thị Riêng, Bến Thành, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh.

When we looked at the ingredients stacked like Legos, we know this Banh Mi shop is popular. The amount of meat and that huge tray of dried pork floss and the pate, this is unbelievable. This is non-Halal by the way.
One Banh Mi is priced at VND 35,000 and it is roughly RM 7.00. It is not cheap but it is worth it.
This Banh Mi changed my perception and we fell in love instantly like love at first sight. The taste of the Banh Mi is unbelievably delicious. This is the Ramly Burger of Vietnam and the amount of meat and vegetables in this piece of bread is so satisfying. The combination of flavours of pate, vegetables, the meats and the sauces is so harmony (like Bhutan), this is really good stuff.

Like we mentioned earlier, there could be better Banh Mi in Ho Chi Minh or other parts of Vietnam but this Huỳnh Hoa really set the standard of Banh Mi high.
