Kamala Beach is located about 26 kilometers from Phuket. Kamala Beach is the one of most beautiful quite nice beach of Phuket. The length of Kamala Beach is about 2 kilometers, it is long, clean sandy beach
with an impressive good view. The Kamala Beach is popular for Thai and foreigner traveller who prefer the
quieter life. Kamala Beach is a peaceful beach suitable for swimming, sailing and sunbathing. There are many resort, hotels and shopping centers, mini bar around Kamala Beach, many famous beachside restaurants with the best seafood in Phuket can be found in Kamala Beach. There is a small park with Tsunami Monument and the most extremely popular for the tourist in Kamala Beach is Phuket Fantasea show. The small bus (songtaew : in Thai) and taxis are serviced the tourist from Kamala Beach to other place in Phuket everyday.
How to go to Kamala Beach
Take highway no.35 (Thonburi - Paktor) through highway no.4 from Bangkok to south. Along the way pass Patchaburi, Prachuap Khirikan, Chumphon and pass the district of Kraburi, Muang in Ranong province. Then go through Sooksamran subdistrict, Kuraburi district, Thai Muang in Phang-Nga province after that cross the Tho Thep Kasatri or Sarasin Bridge. From Sarasin Bridge turn left the way pass Surin Beach, Laem Sing then to go Kamala Beach, Kamala Beach is far from Phuket about 26 Kilometer.
