Empire State Building Endangered Species Photos I like

Reminding that nature must be conserved is not an easy task. The World Wild Life Foundation and other NGOs , went to many efforts to remind people that there are species that will be extinct if we don't do anything about it.

"In 1975 there was an estimated 250,000 lions in Africa, yet today the continent wide population stands at a mere 25 – 30,000 individuals" Source : http://worldlionday.com/african-lion/

That fact above shows a decrease of 88% of world lion population for just over 40 years. Now think about the next 30 years, would we want our grand children to see lions only in museums ? What about the bald eagle, the tiger, the komodo dragon (the only known living real dragon) in Indonesia ?

However, for some near extinction means nothing. They probably did not understand why there is such a term as 'Endangered Species' in the first place. The hunting down of Cecil that made world wide news, really shocked many. What was meant to be a hobby of hunting became what was known to be : The hunter becoming the hunted as discussed in CNN. And prosecution by netizens (internet people around the world) can be the worst nightmare for the rest this hunter's life.

To convey the message there are lots of ways to do it. Some people do just simple things within their reach like blogging about it. But some will go through the limits to send across the message to the world.

One of them is the "Projecting Change on the Empire State Building" where the south side of the Empire State Building covering 33 floors became a projector for showing these animals that are threatened to be extinct..

This magnificent event that can be bizarre to some used a renown landmark which usually are associated with United Nations, King Kong or 'Sleepless in Seattle' Now associated to fighting against reckless wild life hunting and preserving endangered species.

So these are the projections that I like.
