Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy

Following the 1956 Winter Olympics, this place in Italy turned out to be one of the must-visit skiing destinations in Europe.

Zermatt, Switzerland

Zermatt is situated at the foothills of Matterhorn and is a perfect skiing destination.

Being the highest ski area in Switzerland, Zermatt sees skiers from various countries pouring in during winter.

Courchevel, France

Courchevel is one of the largest ski resorts, spanning over 10 summits and four glaciers,

and interlinking many ski resorts.

It connects four villages and has good terrain for beginners as well,

in addition to terrain for intermediates and expert level skiers.

Courchevel is present at an altitude of 5,732 ft, and has snow almost all year round.

If you’d visit the resort in March, you get a chance to ski under the sun.

Apart from skiing, the area is also popular for its luxury resorts and the delicious local cuisine.  

Zugspitze, Germany


Zugspitze is the highest mountain in Germany, situated at the foothills of the Garmisch-Partenkirchen village.

The summit is accessible by cable cars, and you are surrounded by beautiful alpine mountains all around.

The Garmisch-Classic ski area is one of the popular spots here,

which connects three mountains – Hausberg, Alpspitze and Kreuzeck. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are also popular here.

St. Moritz, Switzerland

Corviglia, the mountain closest to St. Moritz was the first place

that initiated winter tourism 150 years in the Alpines of Switzerland.

 St. Moritz is a skiing destination in Switzerland with over 87 skiing slopes that is highly recommended a visit for skiing.

With plenty of spa destinations, luxury resorts, and designer shops around St. Moritz, the outdoor enthusiasts aren’t left disappointed as well.

Innsbruck, Austria

Innsbruck, has hosted the Winter Paralympics, the Winter Youth Olympics and the Winter Olympics.

Needless to say, it is the winter sports destination in Austria.

Equipped with several snowboard parks and 8 major ski slopes, Innsbruck does not disappoint when it comes to skiing.

In addition to being an excellent skiing destination and other winter sports like snowboarding,

Are Ski Resort, Sweden

The Are Ski Resort at Jämtland is the skiing destination of Sweden, and is a dream for people who love skiing.

Being one among the top winter destinations in Sweden,

the area sports more than 100 slope of all difficulty levels, and can be accessed by bus or trains.

The stay at the resort treats you with breathtaking views of the Åresjön lake that is an added advantage of choosing this ski resort.
