What’s in Pigeon Forge Tennessee

Pigeon Forge is a fascinating mountain village in Tennessee, but don’t disregard as some isolated town in the middle of nowhere. Just the opposite, Pigeon Forge is an energetic tourist spot with infinite entertainment in and around the amazingly scenic Great Smoky Mountains.

With several great places to explore, give yourself enough time to grasp all up. Instead of just spending a day or two, extend your stay and stick around for three, five, or even seven days this summer. It may be warm outside, but nothing is cooler than splashing down the water slides at Dollywood waterpark and sense the wind on your face as you fly down the alpine coaster!

With summer not far away, there’s no time to wait—start planning your getaway today.

3 Days
If you’re whip-smart, you can pack a whole lot of things into just three days in Pigeon Forge. It won’t take long to find out the true beauty Tennessee has to offer.

Start by devoting an entire day to the Smoky Mountains National Park. Situated just 5 miles south of Pigeon Forge, this natural wonder is packed with wildlife and adventure. Remember, The national park is the home of elk, bears, turkey, and other animals, so respect the wildlife and always maintain a safe distance.

Then, experience Dollywood, a family amusement park in Tennessee nestled in the foothills of Great Smoky Mountains. This park features rides for all ages, but it also showcases music from the Smoky Mountains. You could easily spend an entire day getting lost in this 150-acre park, but if you still desire more Dolly-inspired entertainment, visit nearby Dollywood’s Splash Country Water Adventure Park.

After outdoor activities and theme park adventures, spend your third and final day onboard the Titanic Museum Attraction. Not an ordinary museum, this place invites you to understand what life was like on the historic ship. Board the replica Titanic with a pass, and walk through the halls full of 400 artifacts that survived the wreck. Walk at the Grand Staircases and touch a real iceberg.
