Introduction If you ask any European where they like to vacation, chances are they will say: “Greece.” This is not a big surprise as Greece combines warm climate, friendly people, great food, fascinating ancient history and over 500 islands to explore. What is a surprise, however, is that many people who visit Greece focus their attention on only three locations: Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. This means that both Mykonos and Santorini are very crowded. Although both Mykonos and Santorini are beautiful, the amount of tourists who visits those two islands is rather striking, especially considering all the other options.
