5 Activities You Should Try on Your Next Vacation

One thing I love about traveling is trying out of the box experiences that I would never think to try at home. Something about being in a new place creates this exciting energy, that pushes you to try something new- even if it’s slightly terrifying.

If you’re looking to spice it up on your next trip, check out this list of experiences for your consideration!

1. Deep Sea Diving

If you’ve snorkeled, but want to take your water experience to the next level, Deep Sea Diving is for you. Although getting the proper training to become certified takes a bit of time, consider booking a longer vacation and committing to it.

2. Paragliding

If you want to see the resort or the area you are staying at from a new perspective next time you are on a vacation, you might want to try paragliding. As someone who is terrified of heights, this on my bucket list because I feel like it would finally help me get over my fear.

3. Golfing

Now here me out on this one- golfing was something that didn’t interest me. I always felt like it was a bit of a pretentious, out of touch sport. It wasn’t until I went on vacation with my parents and they decided to try out the range for the first time at the resort, that I actually got to experience golf firsthand and I’ve got to say, it’s a lot tougher than it looks. You should try golfing on your next trip if you’re looking for a challenge! Study the rules before you arrive, though, and maybe get some practice. Find out as much as you can about the different techniques and read the Best Golf Clubs For Women Reviews 2019 to arrive prepared for the challenge.

4. Glamping

Short on money and time, but would still like to get away for a bit? Then you should go Glamping. Glamping is traditionally a lot less expensive then resorts and hotels. You can often find a glamping location just a few hours outside of where you currently live, making it the perfect weekend trip that doesn’t require getting on a plane. What I love about glamping is that you can experience the great outdoors from the comfort of your luxe camp site!

5. Wine Tours + Distillery Tours

Let me tell you, wine and distillery tours are where it’s at! It’s a great way to understand the culture of the country you are visiting by seeing how they craft their libations firsthand. I’ve been on several wine tours, as well as distillery tours and they never disappoint. I’ve always left with a ton of knowledge and a little buzz.

Spending time away from your regular routine will always help you recharge your batteries. If you would like to try something new and create new memories, why not take part in one of the above activities?
