72-Hours in North Lake Tahoe

Day 1

After settling into one of our studio to 4-bedroom properties in The Village at Northstar or Old Greenwood, to dinner at Soul Domain an intimate 13 table cabin with a seasonally rotating menu in Kings Beach. Soule Domaine’s mission for 21 years is to make their customers friends and based on how busy they are, they’re doing a good job.

Day 2

Drive into Truckee for breakfast at The Squeeze In, known locally for the best omelets in town! We’re partial to the Lake Taco which can be made in a flour tortilla. After fueling up on breakfast, head to Piping Rock for horseback riding through the Jeffrey pines. Make it back to the lake for lunch at Gar Woods, our concierge Andrew recommends the infamous “Wet Woody.” Rest up at your residence because at 5:00 pm, you’re booked to go paragliding over Lake Tahoe. Being above the lake will show you just how big Lake Tahoe really is. Enjoy dinner at Lone Eagle, the perfect place to watch the sunset over Lake Tahoe.

Day 3

Try a true local hot spot, The Old Post Office Cafe, the best diner in Lake Tahoe. You’ll want to fuel up because next on your list is Truckee River Rafting. If it’s Sunday, make sure you go to a concert at Commons Beach, a spectacular venue with a weekly concert lineup throughout the summer. For one last dinner on the lake, enjoy Christy Hill an incredible collection of refined American fare situated on the lake.

Day 4

You have one last adventure before check out, enjoy an early morning session of paddleboard yoga on Lake Tahoe. A great way to start your morning and help you plan your next vacation to North Lake Tahoe!
