An unplanned long weekend in the soul-melting summer of April and our itch to go some place took us on a long Road Trip from Bangalore to Goa. So we fueled up our Ford baby and hit the roads. A distance of 600kms one way and each other’s goofy company. It couldn’t have gotten better than that.

We took the Davangere route and our route was this:
Bangalore –> Tumkur –> Sira –> Davangere –> Haveri –> Yellapur –> Karwar –> Goa (Agonda)

I must say, South Goa is darn as hell amazing! Our resort was right on the Agonda beach which spoilt us crazy and never let us go anywhere else Books and a dip in the warm ocean were must do “things to do in Goa” on our lists. It was a typical Goan getaway and a complete relaxing one. We neither had (or rather took) our laptops nor were interested to look where our phones were!

We stayed at Harmonium Resorts in Agonda. A perfect hideout for those who despise crowded beaches like Baga and the likes in North Goa. I never knew this side of Goa and it was totally wonderful being there, despite the heat. We weren’t big fans of the food in the shacks of Agonda beach (vegetarianism and sea-food don’t go well you see). So if you are a foodie and would like to explore eateries in Goa, I suggest go out and explore some more.
