Piraeus Rock Wave Festival

The Piraeus Rock Wave Festival is a gathering of music enthusiast around Europe. The festival hosts some of the most famous rock groups in the world and is based mainly on the heavy metal genre.

Admission to the Festival is one hundred euros for a three day admission and 85 euros for a two day admission to the festival.

Although this festival draws mostly the younger generations there is plenty for anyone to do. With local restaurants setting up booths throughout the city and the local pubs beside them, it is bound to be a perfect day full of enjoyment.

Marina Zea

A large scale marina this one has capacity to hold large yachts and boats. They offer electricity and water to all of the moored boats. It is in the main port of Athens and is extravagant and spectacular in size. Anybody should stop by this amazing area and see what the truly wealthy live like.

Hellini Maritime Museum

This museum is dedicated to all of the Naval battles in Greece and surrounding nations. Founded in 1867,G. Zohois the original name was the Seaman’s Pension. At present time over two thousand items are available in the museum. Set in chronological order, this museum allows you to take a walk back in time and view a version of Greece you will not see anywhere else.
