Tools: First of all, you need some basic tools to repair your Iphone. A Phillips #000 screwdriver, Pentalobe screwdriver, tweezers, a spudger, small suction cup and a plastic tool to open it.
Start the Process: So, you have the tools and now you are going to start the repair process. Firstly, unscrewing the two small screws beside the Lightning connector (below the phone). Then, take off the top of the iPhone using a suction cup device, please be careful depending on how cracked is the screen, the plastic tools to open the device it might help you to take it out.
Note: Keep all your parts in one and secured place where you can find them easily.
Now, you´re about to dismantling the iPhone, don´t rush, be patient. Take out all the screws and remove the home button assembly, earpiece, ambient-light sensor, and black plate. Put the back plate on your new screen, you don´t need to pull it off. Also, you don´t remove a copper sticker there, leave it on because it´s very delicate.
Hence, you dismantled the device, now it´s time to reassemble everything back. This is why the importance of keep the whole pieces in a safe place. Once everything is screwed back, you need to plug in your phone. Keep in mind that new batteries come discharged for safety. Wait a few minutes to turn on your device.
